There were three Industry Snapshot Polls during the conference, one for each full day of the event. Conference attendees were invited to GL Noble Denton's stand (2241-K) to take part in the poll, which asked them to vote on three key issues:
Will gas replace oil as America's primary energy source by 2030?
Should operators always be liable for exploration and production risks?
Has US investment in deepwater R&D stalled since Macondo?
The poll was also completed online by senior professionals from across the industry.
